Trusted Ruby on Rails Developers for Your Next Project

when to follow “the Rails way” and when to go bespoke, people who design clean domain models, keep controllers lean, write tests first, and communicate in plain English. They favour clarity over cleverness, make smart trade-offs, and ship early and often. From high-throughput JSON APIs and Hotwire/Turbo interfaces to Sidekiq queues, Action Cable, and Stripe integrations, our developers build SaaS that’s fast, observable, and secure. They optimise queries, kill N+1S, tune caching with Redis, and set up CI/CD for zero-downtime deploys. Hire Ruby on Rails Developers

If you’re planning to hire Ruby on Rails developers then you’re in good company, as it’s used by some of the world’s most popular online platforms and businesses, including Airbnb, Git Hub, Soundcloud and Shopify. Here on Yotewo you can hire dedicated Ruby on Rails developers to undertake your project, whether it’s creating an innovative new web app for your startup, an overhaul of an existing site or ongoing maintenance and everyday tasks. Read on to find out more about Ruby on Rails (RoR), and how to hire the expert programmers you need.

What is Ruby on Rails?

Ruby on Rails is a full-stack framework that runs on the server side. This means that even though the processing for the framework occurs on the server, it offers a full array of tools for RoR developers to build web applications from the ground up, both in terms of back-end code that handles database interactions and server logic actions, and in creating the interface that users see and interact with. The framework incorporates the Ruby programming language, HTML, CSS and JavaScript, giving Ruby on Rails developers a powerful and efficient toolbox for building your web apps.

How to hire a Ruby on Rails developer

Whether you’re trying to find a dedicated RoR developer for a short-term project or you want to hire a full team of remote Ruby on Rails developers for ongoing web application work, Yotewo can help you find experts with the level of experience you require. Yotewo is a comprehensive online platform which matches companies with experienced programmers and web development experts in a wide range of programming languages and frameworks, including RoR. There are just a few steps you need to take to hire the dedicated Ruby on Rails developers that will get your project moving:

  1. Specify your requirements – Get started here, and tell us a little about what you’re looking for – how much experience are you looking for in a RoR developer? Are you looking to hire a single remote Ruby on Rails developer or do you need a full team? How long are you looking to work with them? Are there any other skills you need them to have?
  2. Receive your matches – From our extensive database of expert programmers and developers, we’ll find the ideal pre-vetted developer(s) that meet your specific requirements. On average, this part of the process lasts around 48 hours.
  3. Onboard – When you hire developers via Yotewo, we’ll assist them and you in the onboarding process, ensuring that they settle in quickly and become part of your project team with a minimum of fuss or downtime.

That’s it. Get started today and hire remote Ruby on Rails developers that suit your needs.

Necessary skills to consider when hiring Ruby on Rails developers

As well as being proficient and highly experienced in using the RoR framework to build web applications, there are a variety of other skills which you should consider when hiring developers.

Ruby proficiency – As Ruby is the programming language on which RoR is built, your developers must have a solid understanding of and experience in it. Not only this, they should be up to date with current and upcoming changes within the field.

Front-end knowledge – Although RoR wraps up much of the core programming for web application interface in a neat package, it’s recommended that when you hire RoR programmers you also check that they are proficient in front-end programming languages and frameworks such as HTML, CSS, vanilla JavaScript and JavaScript libraries/frameworks like React and Angular.

Databases – As most web applications require extensive interaction between the user and databases in the back-end, RoR developers should have a broad understanding of database ecosystems and SQL (Structured Query Language).

Version control and deployment – As well as actually creating your platform, they should be well-versed in the management and tracking of changes, particularly if they’re operating in a full team of remote Ruby on Rails developers.

Soft skills – Just as the above technical skills are essential, soft skills such as problem solving, communication, collaborative ability and time management should also be considered as you seek to hire Ruby on Rails developers who are well-rounded.

FAQ about hiring Ruby on Rails developers

This might include planning the structure of an application, working on the back-end logic that makes it run, database management tasks, building a user interface on the front-end, API integration and deployment.
